Passing the time towards CNY

Ok, its new year. 2009… what can I say is just, WoW, time really flies…
In the month of January, I am excited to have a nice job, with big salary, short workin hours and of course, no burden/hard work…

So the first job I applied is temporary teacher in smk gapor. That time was 3rd January 2009. first day of school…
So me n chai fung go and ask lor…
But u know what, end up me n chai fung become a slave to the teachers there.
At first, carryin tables from the hall into the staff room.
Btw, miss Jacinta said that the tables and chairs are waiting for us when we become a temporary teacher. But I dun care… sigh…
At then we are helping madam lee g s carryin cd…
But till now, no news from them so I think no more lor…

While waiting for temporary teacher, I am also applyin job as promoter.
I got a job at One TJ actually. At pc image. A month salary cost rm700. but workin at there all the time really dun makes me happy. Plus its hard to find food there. So I rejected them.

But then I receive a call and it is from F&N. They are hiring me to become a promoter there. Rm40 a day 8 hrs only. So I went for the job there. At first the job is boring and I am alone. Btw, I am workin at Unaco Stutong. So after a few days, here come other people from Yeo’s company. 2 promoter. A male and female. I know both them actually. But I hate them, silly misunderstandin by them, not my fault. So that that period of time, we are not talking to each other unless its urgent la, “YEO’S water” o something…


So they cannot tahan see-ing me there so they go somewhere else lor… then I am alone again. After the next day, a guy come n work. Same age like me, also taking form 6.

Workin at there really makes me feel stronger, with the newly build small muscles. Lolxxx…

So I work there frm 15th to 24th January. 15 days and 600rm salary.
Last day of work, we have to move every single cartoon of canned drinks back into the shop. That time is the most difficult part of my working period. But I dun really care anymore cause it’s the last day. And at that night itself, the madam there, the manager gave me a big plastic bag of mandarin oranges. Really touch tat time till I found out, the oranges she gave to me is from the opened box, where she cannot keep it till the shop reopen. However, thanks…

It’s the new year eve. Busy busy busy…
Cleaning the house, wash car, everything…
On that night, we have reunion dinner at my big uncle house.

The next day, I am excited to go back to Sibu. But sad thing is my dad still have to work.
So we start travel at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. I drive all the way to Sibu le… I am so good in driving… lol…

So I reach Sibu at 8 sumthing. And guess what, Sibu town is flooded…
OMG… I was like, how come this thing happen to me…
And that time my dad keep blaming at me, “c la, flood… tell u go back tomolo liao…”
So I try to drive through the flood lor…
The first part of the road I manage to cross.
But the second 1, I have no idea how come my car “mati engine” afterfinish crossing the flooded area. Maybe the car need rest… haha…

FLOOD!!! i hate flood....
give way pls...

So I try to start the engine but cannot. So what we do is wait, till my uncle from Sibu come. While waiting, I need to PEE… Yes, I need to PEE…
But where? No kopitiam, no shop…
So how? Pee in the middle of the road lor…
So embarrassing….

We reach home around 9.30 p.m.
That time everyone is laughin at me, because Perodua Kancil can cross, why my old Proton Saga cannot?

The whole week in Sibu is boring till the part we sang karaoke…
Boring because flood, no place to go… only high land can go…
3rd day of CNY is my grandpa advance bday. It is fun having party at my uncle shop.

At first the Uncles’ sing old song.
Then is our youngster turn. All we sing are English song.
Ngaiti, all the uncle got high n dance le… we all like huh… uncle so high ah…

So on the 6th day in Sibu, all of us are back to our own home. We cannot use the Lanang Road so we use Oya Road where there are not flood.
The road there are terrible, so rocky due to renovation of the roads.
We stop by at Sarikei for a rest. At there I took photo with The Pineapple.

My mom bought jewelry and my dad bought Chinese herbs because they said there is cheaper. So we reach Kuching at 8 o’clock pm. Almost 8 hours drive due to the rocky roads and also stop by at Sarikei.

Once I reach Kuching, I go Hui Sing there find Ah Meng water stall, Ah Chiew Kolo mee stall… Sibu food is not my type.

After finish eating, I went home and bathe.
The next thing I do is go bai nian… wahahhaha…
That night I went to Yong’s house and Johnny’s place after I drive go around Kuching to meet lywee n gangs.

Next day I went bai nian also… I am really desperate bai nian.
